INSTRUCTION IN PLEIN AIR PAINTING

Introduction to plein air painting. With thanks from the Minnesota Land & Legacy Fund/Region 2 Arts

SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 10am to approximately 1pm.

The destination is at a log cabin barn located just minutes from my home in Laporte. Permission was granted to have a group on this property to do plein air painting. An address/map for this location will follow. You will receive a list of items you should bring with you as this is outdoors. Will also include location address.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 10:30 to approximately 1:30pm.

Location is at my home/studio to paint early sunrise landscape.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 1:00 to approximately 3:00pm

Location is in PARK RAPIDS at Red Bridge Park

ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED> learn the art of painting outdoors with a landscape view. Introduction to supplies to evaluation of shapes and concentration of a point of interest. This class is in oils.

40.00 Per person and class is limited to 6. Ages 16+

In case of inclement weather location will be at my studio.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 2026. Start time: 10am - approximate end time 4pm.

A Day of Art — Mosaic and Watercolor: two exceptional instructors, one full day of inspiration, discovery, and hands‑on learning. We will host an autumn‑themed class filled with seasonal color and creativity. Participants will be supplied with all materials needed to complete both a mosaic fall leaf and a complementary watercolor leaf painting. You are encouraged to bring a sack lunch, as a 45‑minute break will be provided for rest and refreshment. Please bring a hair dryer if you have one to help speed the watercolor drying process. Instructors: Darcy Brambrink and Dee Dee Narum.
