“Claim Your Creative Seat” and open your inner artist with this Urban Workshop in Watercolor. Have you ever wanted to capture the energy of a city street or a charming café scene in your sketchbook or simply learn perspective on a scene? This workshop is designed for aspiring artists with little to no watercolor experience. Join instructor Darcy Brambrink for a supportive and fun-filled session where you will learn to simplify complex cityscapes into beautiful, expressive watercolor paintings. We will cover the essential techniques needed to get started, from basic washes and color mixing to creating light and shadow. By the end of the day, you will walk away with a finished piece and the confidence to sketch or paint your own urban adventures. Participants will receive all artist quality supplies to complete a 9 x 12 painting. Ms. Brambrink is a member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society; the American Watercolors Society and her works are featured in several Central Minnesota galleries. $125.00 INCLUDES ALL SUPPLIES
Basic Still Life Watercolor Zoom Meeting
Join me on Wednesday, March 4th from 12:30 to 3:30 and follow along as we create a still life watercolor. You will receive the list of what is needed along with a template to sketch out before class begins. Basics on lighting, tone and structure will be discussed. A recording of this class will be available afterwards to view and review. If you are unable to attend in paying the fee you will be receive the download of this class.
Landscape in oil or acrylic Basics
Wednesday, March 11 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm a live zoom class in basics on using acrylics or oils to create a hayfield landscape. Participants will receive prior to class supply list and sketch of what we will create. If you cannot attend a recording of this video will be made and sent to you later after March 11 for your personal viewing.
